Porter Robinson is an American DJ, record producer, and musician from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He was born on July 15, 1992. Robinson has released a multiple number of singles across different electronic genres. Robinson is a self-taught DJ who was first signed with Glamara Records and Big Fish Recordings. Much of his work includes Robinson collaborating with other artists. Robinson first began producing at the age of 12. His early work have been influenced by video game music as well as anime and other Japanese culture into his later works.
