Disney Pixar's "Up" is about a 78-year old balloon salesman named Carl Fredricksen who, as a kid, as always wanted to go on a great adventure with his now late wife. However, after her death, Carl has long forgotten that dream. Until one day Mr. Fredricksen makes one daring move and ties thousands of balloons to his house and manages to fly himself all the way to South Africa. But little does he know that a certain stowaway, an overly optimistic boy scout named Russel, also wants to join him on this one big adventure. During their travels, the duo soon form an inseparable bond that no rain nor pack of wild dog may bring to the table. They also meet a new companion on their journey as well as Mr. Fredricksen's lifetime role model, Charles Muntz, who may not be who he really says for him to be. This film brings a vast amount of humor as well as moments that may even tug at one's heart.
