Songhai: The Calligrapher

The Alcuin Library was go-to stop for scholars all over the world of Mythron. It is said that one enters the library with questions but always leaves with none. The same was true for one eager sage hailing all the way from the eastern capital of Xaan. He entered the library one day and was amazed at just how much knowledge was inside. He returned again the next day. And the next, and the next, and the next. He kept coming until one day, in the deepest corners of the library, was a book titled Soul Grimwar. He flipped through it, amazed at the contents inside it, took the book and escaped from the library. The lowly scholar took his book all the way to the Jade Gardens where he can read in peace. He made it to a page of what seemed to be an image of a soul being sucked out into a jar. Suddenly, a bright flash blinded him and it all went black. When the book was recovered, there was no man in sight. Only a new page added to the back of the book.
